Recently, JLemongrass has made their Twitter account public again and published a controversial message. It wasn't too long until Twitter took notice of that and slammed at her. I took the advantage of the situation and decided to talk with JLemongrass to clear some things out and understand her views better. Here's how our conversation went.

If you didn't read and want a recap of the situation, here's my previous article on the matter. In short, JLemongrass was accused of many things based on the posts from her private VK shitposting group written in Russian. Some things were incorrectly translated and interpreted by people, which caused public outrage, and as such, she was effectively ‘cancelled’.

Me: lemongrass, can I ask you a few questions?

JL: you can.

Me: thanks. I know that you already made a lot of posts which possibly could answer many of these questions, but I will re-ask for the reassurance, and it seems it will be helpful to many.

Me: I will start with banal thing, that you mentioned in your post, ‘slurs’. I presume that you now know the issue with these words and why they carry a negative connotation in English; would you have known that when you published the post with the cat? did it have any malicious intent?

JL: No, at that time I had just returned to the internet and saw this word somewhere in VK. Judging from the post I just threw in words that sound ‘edgy’, most probably because before I came to the internet, I wouldn't be allowed to swear.

Me: ah angelic russian upbringing. I understand; indeed, this word has been used here in GTA memes and also frequently mentioned in aggressive rap — I actually thought you wrote it in the manner of some such song.
